From a young age, Melea enjoyed focusing her efforts on creativity. Melea’s sister helped her to realize that she could marry her artistic and technical approach to life by becoming an Interior Designer. Even when she’s gardening or spending time outside, she is always contemplating how the pieces of things come together in creative ways. She also enjoys the opportunities interior design provides to get to know her clients and establish a strong working relationship with them.
Her educational experiences have given Melea an appreciation for attention to the details of the project. In school, learning about the psychology of interior space made her realize just how impactful the spaces we surround ourselves with can be. An internship at a furniture dealership gave her an understanding of the care that goes into proper furniture specification and installation.
At SCI, Melea works primarily on corporate projects. She has been a member of the International Interior Design Association since 2016.
AT&T Kansas City Consolidation - This is an ongoing two year project to increase real estate savings by consolidating three underutilized buildings in the Kansas City metro into one centralized location. It includes remodeling the building to which they are moving, space planning office areas, and move management services.
