As Executive Assistant, Kim’s primary responsibility is to provide high-quality office and administrative support, include managing calendars, making travel and event arrangements, and managing professional and business licenses in 46 states. She assists in the daily operation of the office as well as the building and its tenants to ensure it runs effectively and efficiently.
Prior to joining SDG, Kim was Executive Assistant to Secretary of State Bill Graves, and after his election as Governor of Kansas, she served as Director of Scheduling for his tenure, working closely with the First Lady and Governor’s security detail. She worked at the Capitol for 12 years and greatly enjoyed it.
I've had the pleasure of working at SDG, and my coworkers are like family.
Two daughters, a son, three beautiful granddaughters and a grandson who keep me very busy!
Public speaking and the fear of heights. The zipline at Trampo Lazer Rock Ball Park about did me in. Peer pressure!
I met a lot of interesting and important people while working at the State Capitol and the Republican Party of Kansas: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick, Bob Dole, Elmo and Big Bird, to name a few.
