Beth’s high school woodshop teacher was the first to encourage and support her interest in drafting and creative design. She worked outside of the industry for several years but returned to fulfill her dream of a career in line with her interests.

Prior to joining SDG Beth worked at Payless ShoeSource as a Store Planning Manager, responsible for working with architects, contractors and landlords to choose store plan layouts, materials and fixtures, and manage code requirements and permits from the time a site was selected to the beginning of construction.

Previously she worked in the construction field designing, estimating and managing residential remodels and additions. She is a Certified Aging In Place (CAPS) Specialist who has received training on the addressing the unique architectural needs of seniors. She is currently working towards her architectural license.

When not at work, she loves to hike with her family and to encourage her daughters to be creative and outdoorsy.
