David got his love of making homemade pasta from his mother, but it was his father who facilitated his career as an architect. As a child, David loved going to work on the weekends with his father, a local developer who taught him a respect for historic buildings and many of the skills involved in renovation.
A successful project to David is one where he is able to help a client decipher their dream, produce a concept they love and then follow it through to completion.
After graduating from USC, David interned in Malibu, CA, before moving to Vail, CO to design high-end custom homes. After seven years he returned to Topeka and joined a construction firm so he could spend more time in the field learning construction means and methods. However, he soon realized that his passion was in the design process, and joined SDG in 2015.
He is currently working towards his architectural license.
Canyon Farms Golf Club House Lenexa. It is very iconic and different than any other club house I have seen.
The sense of family and closeness among the employees.
I love cooking, especially making handmade pasta from scratch. Photography is also a passion.
