SDG designed a total remodel and expansion to the existing facilities, constructed in three major phases and some secondary phases. This balanced the need for construction efficiency with the need to maintain the uninterrupted operation of the department. An additional challenge was meeting stringent infection control requirements.
The project included 21,800 sf of renovations and additions, including a new entrance and canopy and all-new mechanical system. The project also included total redesign and replacement of the parking lot.
