Schwerdt Design Group transformed a indoor activity park into a day services facility for the Midland Care Compass Center for Senior Independence. The center provides a space for seniors to receive a wide range of services, helping seniors and their caregivers navigate care for various levels of need. The Compass center is also home for Midland Care Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and Meals on Wheels.
Design details included creating a comfortable and ADA accessible common room which included dining and lounging areas. On the upper level individual employee cubicles overlook the day services room and a large room with big picture windows allow for temporary desk space and collaborative meeting spaces.
Other design features included a large employee lounge and kitchen area, individual offices, meeting room, clinic, rehab facilities, full-service kitchen and administrative area.
