Topeka, KS

FHLBank Topeka

Growing out of its existing offices, FHLBank Topeka wanted its new building to make a statement about its roots in Topeka and the Midwest, and to bridge the future with the traditions of its past.

To create a sustainable building that would achieve LEED Gold certification, SDG specified features such as geothermal heating and cooling, electric car charging stations, bike racks, and recycled and local materials, including Kansas limestone.

The building is designed to allow natural light to reach to all interior work spaces, and centrally-located break areas and group-work spaces promote employee collaboration.
