Schwerdt Design Group was founded in 1990 with the ideal of building a better environment through design excellence and professional proficiency. SDG strives to maintain this goal through research and professional development, but most importantly through dedicated service to our clientele.  SDG specializes in listening to our clients and helping them develop the appropriate scope and process for the most effective solutions to their project.  We do this with personalized service and responsiveness to their specific needs.

Schwerdt Design Group has been involved in a broad range of design projects.  We do not specialize in any project type, but rather we are a multi-disciplined firm. Projects range from specialized facilities such as the Capper Foundation, a therapy/education center for children with mental and physical disabilities, to manufacturing facilities such as the $8 million processing plant addition for Frito-Lay.

Although expertise has been developed in several building types, the real expertise of Schwerdt Design Group is in design and construction techniques…and this expertise permeates all of our projects.  With talent and expertise, a durable and functionally efficient building project is not only possible, it is to be expected!
